“Kick-off Meeting”, September 11th, 2017, Thessaloniki, Greece
The GraDAna “Kick-off Meeting” was organized by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH, partner P1, Coordinator). It was held on September 11, 2017 at AUTH Research Committee, Research Dissemination Center, Aristotle University Campus. Both the European (AUTH, UB, TUW, ZC, W2L) and the Iranian (IASBS, TU, SU, SBUK, IKIU, QIAU) project partners attended the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, the opening talk was a welcome by Prof. Lefteris Angelis, coordinator of GraDAna project emphasizing the importance of such a project to improve entrepreneurship, employability and competitiveness of Iranian students through elevating their skills in data analytics and related technologies needed in industry and private sector. All partners introduced themselves and became acquainted with each others. During the meeting, all work packages, deliverables and deadlines were reviewed and discussed in details. Everybody agreed that the meeting was fruitful and a good starting point and they also they agreed on the roadmap and strategy of forthcoming and future actions, so as to settle the basis for the success of GraDAna project.
